When is mid-autumn festival?

Almost every chinese can answer you that : 15^th Auguest in lunar calendar.





This festival has a long history in China or means that it is a traditioanal chinese festival. From rather old China to today, this festival contain more and more wishes with festive happy. In this day, people are supposed to eat moon cake, appreciate the moon and flowers and enjoy the osmanthus flowers' fragrance.





In 14^th September (14^th Auguest in lunar calendar), Gemfan had a Buffet dinner in Qianxiaonv full cafeterial For it;s free style, no mattar how much you can eat that you just touch what you want to eat. After collecting the food material, we barbecued the meat for ourselves. Of course, there is not only meat. fruits, snakes, cakes, seafood, cooked food......





Obviously, that is a good way to be familiar with each others in big Gemfan family.
We booked two big tables with four roasting pans and four hot pots. There are 16 persons attended to this "feast".







To coincide with the next day is Ada's birthday, we just hope that she can have a happy birthday and Gemfan gave her a special gift by represent us.







In traditional habitude, most areas in China have the custom of flipping "reunion" in Mid-Autumn evening. namely, flipping a symbol of reunion, moon cakes like small cake, bread bag of sugar, sesame, osmanthus flowers and vegetables, such as design of external pressure and the moon, osmanthus, rabbits. After appreciating the moon, the elders will cut bread according to the number of points into pieces one by one, that means a family reunion. If there is someone out, the family will still retain the part of him.
